A Dark Turn In Mind

ohhellmouth.substack.com
I have a dark turn in mind
I have a shovel and an acorn I'm going to bury
Don't try to stop me, Lord
Don't try to burn my house down
Because I'm coming out tomorrow
Because I'm heading into town

I have a dark journey in mind
I have two old quarters in my hip pocket
Don't try to call me, Lord
Don't try to follow me into town
Because I'm heading out tomorrow
Because I never will be found

I have a dark turn in mind
I have a slow burn and a distant wind
Don't try to save me, Lord
Just let them take me down
Because there's nothing in tomorrow
Because I'll be gone before town

I really like this one. I feel like those would be great lyrics.
